Bakery Style Sweet Buns

The aroma alone makes me want to bake this bun everyday, it is also really easy if you have the right ingredients. It took me the same amount of time I take to knead chapati dough and roll the roti’s. 

This is one of those recipes I have been asked umpteen number of times, by so many people. My Dad has been asking for sweet bun with Drakshi in them, dried grapes I used Vedaka Popular Raisins, 1Kg. I had followed a recipe or two to make them a while ago and some how they didn’t come out really well.

The dough has a lot of moisture so keep in mind to not dry the dough out. Always keep it covered with a good brand cling film. I used Fresh Wrap Kitchen Pack – 30+6 m

As always I used CCDs bakers yeast. A box of this lasts me through the year. After opening it always keep it in the fridge.
