Caramelised Onion Samosa

Since the first time I had this samosa, I have always wanted to make it and the times that I have made this at home, it’s over so soon! The taste is incredible, it is worth making it so you can enjoy the sweet and tarty goodness and the crumble and crunch! I love having it with Red Chilli and Green Chilli sauce, something so classic about the 2 of them and this slightly savoury taste of the samosa’s!  I have used ready made Samosa sheets for this recipe by Switz, it is easily available now in most grocery stores and online stores as well! It helps save time, I would advise you to be cautious while packing it and bringing it home, since it is frozen. I used 14 sheets for this recipe! Now the caramelised onions, I have given the exact amounts for both salt and sugar, I find that this balance is a must! The addition of star anise and black pepper makes it stand out. The liquorice taste of the star anise and the pepper packs a punch of flavour!  I would strongly advise you to make this, for your evening tea or coffee! Especially when it is raining! The warm feeling of baking them and the crunch of it too! I’m thinking of making some more for myself right now!  Loved this recipe? Want another recipe? Let me know in the comments below!
