In a bowl add 3 tablespoons of corn flour
Add quarter spoon finely ground pepper
Add half a spoon of Kashmiri red chilli powder
Add 4 tablespoons of water, I unfortunately added extra
Add salt per taste
Mix them and make it into a paste
Cut the paneer into thick cubes
Mix once and marinate the paneer for 20 minutes
While the paneer is marinating cut 2 green chillies diagonally
Next cut an onion into petals or segments and peel them into layers
Keep a teaspoon of ginger paste or ginger garlic paste
Keep 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon of Kalonji or nigella seeds
4 spring onion, whites and greens separate, cut the roots out
In a deep pan add 2 tablespoons of oil
Add the Kalonji, next carefully add the ginger paste! The oil splashed and spluttered!
Add the spring onion whites and mix
Add the cut green chillies and mix
Add the cut onions, Stir fry till it turns translucent
Add 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup and mix
Next, add salt per taste and mix
Add 1 tablespoon of dark soya sauce and stir well
Add 1 teaspoon of corn flour and mix
Add the paneer, I do not like frying it so I have added them as is.
Most recipes ask for it to be fried
Stir fry it for a while
Add cut spring onion greens now and stir well
If you can handle it, you can add a dash of chilli sauce now!
Add a teaspoon of sugar at the end and mix
The dish is now ready!
Serve it in a bowl, eat it when it is hot
