Loaded Fries with Cheesy Sauce

Ingredients
For the Fries

frozen fries
Oil for frying
For the Cheddar Cheese Sauce

butter

maida
all-purpose flour

cup
milk + 1/2 cup extra
2
teaspoons
freshly ground black pepper
1
tablespoon
dried oregano
1
teaspoon
salt
1
cup
grated cheddar cheese
Toppings
Fresh basil leaves
Red chilli flakes
JalapeƱos
Grated Parmesan
Instructions
Fry frozen fries in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on kitchen tissue.
For the cheese sauce:
Melt butter in a pan.
Add maida and mix well for 1 minute.
Gradually add 1 cup milk while stirring continuously until smooth and thickened.
Add black pepper, oregano and salt.
Add grated cheddar and stir until melted. Add remaining 1/2 cup milk to adjust consistency.
Plate the hot fries. Garnish with fresh basil and red chilli flakes.
Add jalapeƱos and grate Parmesan over the top.
Pour cheese sauce generously over the fries. Serve extra sauce in a bowl for dipping.
