The first time my mother made this recipe, I really enjoyed the taste! There is a phrase in Kannada called Hulli Uppu and Khara, it has the right amount of sourness, salt and spice! When I started to cook I wrote all my mother’s recipe’s down in a book and took photos of the book it self, so I have access to it, wherever I go! This recipe is ready very quickly and doesn’t even require a blender! So this is one of those recipes you can make without power too, during power cuts. I have added only 1 gobhi or cauliflower, the dish serves 5 people easily, with the addition of peas and potatoes as well.  There are so many recipes for Gobhi or Cauliflower out there, I prefer it with a gravy, this one has a thin gravy, add as much as you like. I prefer gravies with my roti’s, not dry curries.  Do you know I have some more Masala or Curry Recipes do take a look! Let me know if you want any other recipe?  [recipe_card]
