Baked Cocktail Samosa with Imli Chutney

Samosa, the one dish that everyone, all age groups love. Extremely tasty, every household has its own recipe, some with onion some without, some with ghee some with oil. This time my mom and I decided to bake it, rather than deep frying it.When my brother and I were kids, for Uttam’s birthday mom used to make Samosa and for my birthday Aloo Tikki! This is a recipe my mother has been making for about 25 years minimum. Tried and tested and tasted too!

It took a few hours to make and 4 set of hands. I have explained as best as I can and in great detail. Let me know if you have any doubts!

The recipe is in 3 parts: Making Imli Chutney, Making Panch Phoran Masala and of course the Samosa. Try sticking to the order of the steps. This helps is saving time, making all 3 parts while one or two of them are resting.
