Paneer Pepper Dry

I’ve always liked Paneer, but I was really bored with all the recipes I found online, I wanted something different and spicy. It is the rainy season right now, I always like having something that warms me up! I’m in Hyderabad, the state that probably has the spiciest green chillies in the country, I added 3, beware this might be a little too much to handle.  The recipe is pretty similar to the pepper babycorn recipe, it has the same base masala. I’ve been trying to add more veggie protein filled dishes in my day, Macros! This has a good balance of protein and fat. With all paneer dishes, you don’t need too much oil for the recipe, I made this recipe for myself and my husband Anirudh, so I added 2 tablespoons oil, 1 for each of us. Paneer when cooked releases fats, so you don’t need any more than this. I have not tried this with tofu yet, I’m trying to find Silken Tofu.  The recipe takes only 10 minutes to make, it is ready so quickly and we both finished it so quickly it was that tasty! The curry leaves add a taste and the star anise adds a sweet taste without addition of sugar.  Let me know if you make this recipe? Do you want any other recipe? Ask away!  [recipe_card]
